When Hotel Adeline first opened in Scottsdale, I heard nothing but great things about it. I got to see all of the cute photos on the gram and couldn’t wait to check it out for myself. Thankfully, they invited me for a stay not long after opening and I was able to experience it for myself.
Hotel Adeline
Centered in the bustling city of Scottsdale, Hotel Adeline is the Instagrammer’s boutique hotel. The whole property is absolutely stunning and offers a welcoming rate for those who aren’t interested in the 5-star experience but still want urban luxury. Walking in the front entrance of Hotel Adeline you are greeted with the warmest smiling faces, happy and eager to help you right away.
The hotel offers large communal spaces that flow from reception all the way outside to the pool. With a retro spin, the whole place is cozy enough to accommodate large groups as well as single travelers.
The Rooms
Accommodations at Hotel Adeline follow suit by offering a range of room options. We were visiting as a family so we had the option for a larger room. These rooms boast lots of space for kiddos as well as a full sectional for plenty of seating options. Have no fear though, the smaller rooms offer awesome amenities, as well as each room, is equally stylish and complete with a wood edge desk, burnt orange chaise lounge, and a few of the pool.

The Amenities
From the moment you step foot outside, it is very obvious what the focal point of the property, the gorgeous beach entry pool. The sparkling pool has cabanas, loungers, and large pool floats for those who want to soak up the sun. Rather socialize with others? No problem! Hotel Adeline has life-size yard games, a pool bar, fully loaded 24/7 gym, and events often to keep everyone coming.
The Food
Though Scottsdale has many fine dining options, Hotel Adeline can stand with the best of them when it comes to taste. The property has 3 options and levels of dining; Freestyle, Good & Proper, Self Made.
Freestyle
Down by the pool and don’t want to bother getting out to grab a bit to eat? Freestyle is the answer. Freestyle is perfect for those in search of small plates and cocktails so you can keep on, keepin’ on.
Good & Proper
This option was the show stopper for us. As breakfast lovers, I’m always bummed when I order what sounds like a delicious breakfast at a hotel only to be let down. Good & Proper was AMAZING! They offer a variety of breakfast options complete with juice and locally roasted coffee. We gobbled up every crumb and couldn’t wait to have breakfast again the next day.
Self Made
Hotel Adeline’s signature spot, Self Made boasts old-school dishes with a fresh, new spin on them. I enjoyed a plethora of tastings on what they offered beginning with the first night. When we arrived we were famished so we ordered a few pizzas from the kitchen. We were pleasantly surprised to find the pizza was made fresh, by hand, and not some frozen prepackaged pie. Self Made is a fabulous option for those interested in a sit-down dinner.

The Bars
If you’re not quite ready to wind down for the night after dinner, I highly suggest seeking out Hotel Adeline’s speakeasy called Straight Up. You will have to find the location which is near the front lobby and very easy to overlook. Once you find the secret spot, you will need to pick up the payphone and give the password for entry.
Once the password is correctly answered a secret passage will open and you’ll enter into a quaint little whiskey bar. The bartender is highly knowledgeable on his craft and loves to answer all your questions as well as offer unique whiskey cocktails. Have a drink or 10 and enjoy the night!
If you’re not interested awesomeness of the speakeasy, across from Self Made is a large, full bar to fulfill your thirst.
Altogether, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Adeline and it will always be an option for a staycation. If you’re planning a trip to Scottsdale or neat the area, this property will not disappoint. With the modernly urban amenities, an affordable rate, and a gorgeous pool, how could you go wrong?
